Our 5 Step Roof Cleaning System
Step 1 - Site Survey
The first thing we'll do is survey the site.
We'll check the roof tiles for any previous damages and walk you through the 'before' state of your roof, before we deem it safe to work on, with you fully understanding the process.
Your roof health is important to us and we won't do anything that risks the quality of your roof.
Step 2 - Scrape/Remove Moss
Then we'll set up our equipment and get to work.
We use special damage-free tools to remove the moss, dirt, grime and vegetation, using either roof tile fitting tools, steam cleaning methods or a combination of both.
The aim is to get as much debris off your roof as possible, to protect it long-term.
Step 3 - Apply Treatment
Once we've finished removing the moss, we'll apply a specialist, biocide treatment, if required, that works meticulously over time to remove any stubborn lichen, algae and mildew.
Over the next few weeks and months, your roof will continue to clean until it looks like new!
Step 4 - Remove All Waste
When we're finished transforming your roof, we'll remove all the moss, dirt and other waste to leave your property looking sparkling clean.
We have a professional waste carriers and disposers license.
The last thing you'll want to do is dispose of all that grime and vegetation, so don't worry...

Step 5 - Enjoy Your Lovely Home!
Now all that's left is to admire your new roof.
Depending on your preferred method of it being cleaned (we offer scraping, steam cleaning and just treatment - or a combination), you roof will either have instant results or will get cleaner and cleaner as the treatment has time to work it's magic!

Should I be concerned about my plants & landscaping?
Short answer: YES. Roof, render and wall cleaning always carries an inherent risk to your landscaping and plant life. We can’t guarantee that some of your landscaping will not be affected by the cleaning process (and you should seriously question any exterior building cleaning contractor who does make such a guarantee…). However… What we do guarantee is that we’ll take every precaution to protect your plant life. We also guarantee that if something negative does happen after your cleaning service we will be there for you to help you get it rectified.
In order to mitigate as much risk as possible, we use a variety of strategies to protect landscaping and plant life: Collection and/or diversion of run-off. Dilution of overspray and runoff before, during and after the job. We apply a neutralising agent to soil and plant life where necessary. Coverage of delicate plant life with breathable traps. These precautions protect your plants as much as possible. In the unlikely event that you do notice any issues after service, such as wilting or browning leaves, wilting flowers, etc., please give us a call. We promise to take care of you!
Do I need to take a day off work?
Nope! Providing we can get clear safe access to all points of the property and a water supply you can leave us to get on with it so you could go to work, do the school run or a bit of shopping and return to a clean environment.
